Gates open at 5pm. Film will start once it is dark around 18:30.

The Drive​

 

Hillcrest is close to Durbanville Hills. Thats 30mins from Cape Town, or 45mins from Muizenberg. In the spirit of adventure its not that far guys!

The Cinema

 

This is an open air cinema. We've arrange a massive 8x5m projector screen, that will be set up in a beautiful quarry. So you will be outdoors. Prep accordingly, it might get chilly, but there is no better way to watch outdoor adventure films than under the stars.

Backrests​

​

There will be backrests available for rental on the night, but numbers are limited. You can pay by cash for these on arrival. 

​

Food and Drink

​

There will be delicious food and drink available from Hillcrest. Download their menu here.

Weather

​

Currently the forecast is looking good! The venue is also quite sheltered as it is protected by the quarry.

Make a Day of It

​

There are incredible things to do in the area including mountain biking, trail running, wine tasting and a couple of great restaurant. Why not come though early and make a day of it?

Covid

​

Standard covid regulations will be in place, as well as adherance to the curfew and gathering laws. 

​

Refunds

​

In the case of bad weather we will arrange a backup date, or a percentage cash refund.
